Daniel loves utensils. He can reach the utensil drawer and empties it frequently. Particular favourites are the wooden spoons and the BBQ tongs. At Auntie Cath’s house she let him eat with them:

Words and thoughts

After I added the entry about shuzz, we discussed the words Dan uses, initally we didn’t think there were many, but ended up coming up with what we consider to be lots:
Mulk (Milk)
Mama & Dada
Duck & Dugk (Dog which sounds remarkably like Duck but can often be distinguished by the presence of one or the other)
Narna (which used to be for banana but often just means “I’m hungry give me what you are eating”)
Ta (often pronounced da)
Dat (Cat; additional noise for cat being a high pitched squeal while running after said Cat with a utensil)
Mnna mnna mnna which isn’t English but means “I want that” and more mnna’s adds words like NOW and HURRY to the meaning.

Shuzz and a photo of the last Cousins Club day

Dan’s new word for this week is SHOES or rather SHUZZ but it means shoes. He has had his first pair of shoes for about a month, and is still very pleased with them.

Almost a month ago Dan’s cousins came to play, so this picture with Aunty Pub is an old one now.
